Why TextPCB Exists
There is a persistent gap between an engineering idea and the disciplined work required to turn it into a real product. The idea is fast; the work is slow — not because engineers are slow, but because the tools fragment the work into files, formats, and handoffs that lose context at every step.
TextPCB exists to close that gap. We are building AI-native engineering software for electronics and intelligent products: practical software that helps engineers move faster without losing visibility into the work. The goal is not to replace engineering judgment — it is to remove everything that gets in its way.
How We Build
We hold the product to an engineering-first standard: useful automation, careful product design, and clear evidence about what the system produced, what was checked, and what still requires judgment. If a feature cannot show its work, it does not ship.
What We Value
- Engineering truth. Engineering claims should be supported by the design, the checks, and the evidence — not by confidence or presentation alone.
- Craft. Details matter, from the quality of the engineering output to the clarity of the workflow around it.
- Momentum. Automation should remove avoidable friction while preserving deliberate review exactly where engineering judgment matters.
Early Access

A Note on Privacy
Company, team, and funding details are intentionally private during early development. We would rather show you a working product than a pitch about one. What is public: what we are building, how it works at a high level, and the standards we hold it to.
